The Center for the Study of Anomalous Aerial Phenomena (CEFAA) a unit of the General Directorate of Civil aviation in Chile determined that the reported flying object seen above Chile on April 2013 is in fact an Unidentified flying object.
After a year of analysis with senior scientists, “which are generally very skeptical”, it was concluded that the sighting April 2013 in northern Chile was “an unidentified flying object (UFO), it does not fit with nothing known, said Ricardo Bermudez, director of CEFAA.
The CEFAA is a unique organization, according to their researchers, “nobody owns the truth” so “we opted to share the information we have, not hide it,” said Bermudez, who stressed that Chile “is the only country in the world where there is full transparency” in terms UFOs.
We work openly with those who have seen or recorded unidentified flying objects, which are generally pilots or operators of aircraft radar, but we also appreciate the support of ordinary people who tend to film or photograph the UFO’s,” he said.
But we also work with astronomers, chemists, universities, the military and police in the analysis of the testimonies, images and videos, which most often tend to be birds, balloon or other similar objects which have a perfectly good explanations, so there is no mystery added Bermudez.
In this particular case, the sighting was made by a group of 35 workers in the Collahuasi mine, located 4300 meters above sea level, in the northern region of Tarapaca. The object in question which was photographed was a silver disk-shaped object that remained visible for about two hours, hovering at an altitude of about 600 meters, in an absolutely clear day with no cloud in the sky.
“It was a silver disc, about ten meters in diameter, the mysterious object made vertical and horizontal movements that no aircraft that we know can perform, yet mysteriously the UFO seemed to follow a predetermined flight plan,” said Bermudez.

Interestingly, this object mysterious flying saucer became part of the 3 per cent of sightings recorded in Chile since 1998 which have been officially recognized as UFOs.
Do you think that more countries should be like Chile and offer complete transparency in regards of UFO’s and extraterrestrial beings? How much would life change in general if every country on Earth all of a sudden recognized that there are in fact objects that cannot be explained by known sciences? Do you think that society would change as we know it?
It is certainly interesting to approach the UFO phenomena as Chile is doing.
