Science Proves Living in the Moment is the Happiest Way to Be

For a couple of reasons, this article is very interesting to me. First of all, it discusses the importance of living in the present moment, and secondly is backs up this concept with some solid research from some reputable sources. I’ve noticed within my lifetime, that people within our society are now placing more value on spiritual concepts than they had previously done before. Activities such as practicing mindfulness, yoga and meditation are now becoming more commonplace. As a result, people are getting more educated and awareness is being brought to these beneficial practices.

The shift in the Earth’s consciousness that we are experiencing right now is a very real phenomenon. Part of this is due to us being in a new astrological era called the Age of Aquarius. It has arguably been in effect since the year 2000, although some people believe that it’s only been here since late 2011. We will be in the Age of Aquarius for approximately the next 2,160 years, and the premise of the Aquarian Age is that it is helping to increase spirituality and harmony for people on this Earth. This being said, it is no surprise to me that there is more thought and consideration that is being given to the benefits of being present in our day-to-day lives!
