During centuries top military codebreakers, linguists, historians and countless other scientists have tried to decipher it, all failed have failed.
The mysterious voynich manuscript, an ancient work which is believed to date back to the early 15th century, written in an alphabet which no one has been able to decipher is now available for download.
According to many who have had the opportunity to study the strange manuscript, it contains diagrams of totally unrecognizable plant species and celestial charts. The Voynich manuscript was introduced to the modern world in 1912 when antique dealer Wilfrid Voynich acquired it. According to analysis, the writing of the Voynich manuscript contains around 25 different characters written from left to right. It was determined that the text was written fluently as if the author of the mysterious text knew the language to perfection, as opposed to someone translating the text from a cypher, who would have stopped after writing each character.
Because it contains a language that cannot be found anywhere else on the planet and given the fact that the ancient manuscript depicts star charts that are unknown to us, many have proposed that the Voynich Manuscript could have been created by a being, not from Earth. This theory, however, is the least probable of them all. But, until someone actually decipher the mysterious manuscript, all we can do is wonder what it actually is.
Now, thanks to archive.org, a digital version of the mysterious manuscript have been made available online for free. Now that the entire planet can access the mysterious manuscript perhaps someone will provide more information about it, helping us decipher one of the most enigmatic ancient manuscripts ever discovered on planet Earth.
While it is very likely that no one will be able to understand a single word written on the Voynich manuscript, at least, we have found a digital version of it, something that increases hopes that one day, someone will come forward deciphering it, finally solving a mystery that has gone one for centuries.
Enjoy and don’t forget to share it with your friends and family, maybe someone will eventually crack it, and help us understand who wrote it, what was its purpose and what language and alphabet were used to write it.
