You might already know that your thoughts are powerful. But one thing is to hear about it, and another is to understand how your thoughts actually create your reality!
An excellent documentary called What the Bleep Do We Know!? explains the power behind our thoughts. It explores how matter is not solid in the way we have been led to think, and our perception of it can change it.
The experiment and book “Secret Life Of Water,” by Masaru Emoto is also helpful to understand how our thoughts are capable of modifying things around us. Emoto’s experiment involved concentrating intention into different containers of water such as the intention of love, harmony, thankfulness, and also negative intentions like “I hate you, and I wish you were dead.”
After the intentions, they observed the water molecules from each category under a microscope. The molecules that were infused with the loving, positive intentions had beautiful, geometric patterns, similar to snowflakes and the molecules that were infused with the more negative thoughts and intentions, showed up as chaotic looking, and not in alignment with the others.
The experiment was successful in showing us how powerful our thoughts. They also made us ponder how thoughts, both good and bad, can affect us in our day-to-day lives.
Watch the clip below from the documentary:
On a Facebook post, Emoto’s experiment with water molecules was repeated. They took an apple and split it in half. The two halves of the apple spent the same amount of time exposed to several elements. But the difference was that one half was exposed to creativity, art, meditation, love and gratitude and the other half was subjected to blame, judgment hatred, heavy metal music and mainstream news, and thus fear.
What Can We Learn
Everything that you think and say has the power to modify things around you. It impacts your physical and energy body. Your thoughts make a tremendous difference in your life. And as we can see through the experiments above, more than just your thoughts play a role here.
Practices such as meditation, love, dancing, and creative expression kept the apple healthy. However, the unfavorable actions and environments such as mainstream news and fear contributed to the accelerated rotting process of the apple.
All this makes you think: If thoughts, actions, and intentions have such a noticeable effect on an apple, just imagine what they could do for my health?
The Power Of Prayer
Show gratitude before eating. Food goes your body and nourishes you, so pay attention to pour love and appreciation over it beforehand, so it when it enters your system it comes from a positive place.
Much of the world’s population is eating meat and animal products from animals who live in a constant state of fear, pumped full of hormones and antibiotics, and being harmed and abused, and this energy gets carried into your body.
Processed food and food that travels long distances is also exposed to a lot of negative energy. Maybe that’s the reason why home cooked meals tend to taste so good as they are often made with love, care, and tenderness, especially when the ingredients come from your backyard.
We can choose what we think and do every day to create a better and healthier version of ourselves. Do not waste energy and thoughts thinking about a workmate that irritates you, and direct your thoughts and energy into the opportunities and possibilities that today brings you.
