A visually-striking, golden UFO was photographed while emerging from the depths of the Atlantic Ocean by a resident of the Mexican state of Yucatan.
While enjoying their vacation at a beach in the city of Mérida, Manuel Loria Alejos and his family were interrupted by a phenomenon that in the past would have been called unusual. Nowadays, it seems the entire South American continent is routinely scanned by UFOs/USOs.
When attempting to provide an explanation for what they saw, the Lorias and the other witnesses were at a loss for words:
“For nearly two decades I have been reading everything about the UFO issue,” Loria told local press. “But nothing prepared me for the day when, in the company of my dad, my wife, my brothers and my children, I would see a strange light on the horizon.”
Aliens at the beach
The incident began when the beachgoers noticed a bluish light appearing on the ocean’s surface as if something illuminated was rising from below the waves. As it got closer to the surface, the light increased in intensity. Withdrawing from the aquatic environment, the object then assumed a straight-line trajectory towards the beach.
As it approached the mesmerized group of people, the UFO started following a zigzag flight path and gradually dimmed its lights. This behavior is a clear indicator that the object was intelligently controlled by beings who were interested in assessing the witnesses’ reaction.
We were eight witnesses and I was the most excited, because although I believe in life on other planets, this was the first time I’d seen something this strange, unlike my father, who lived his third experience of this type,” Loria added.
Unlike most observers of unidentified aerial phenomena, Loria kept a cool head and managed to take a photograph of the amphibious vessel. The object in the picture does not appear to be any of our known aircraft but its prominent features make it fall neatly in the UFO category.
Loria’s shot shows a golden object with a distinctive dome structure and an active propulsion system at the bottom. The UFO’s gravity-negating engine is probably responsible for the distortion visible in the photo.
The object continued scanning its surroundings for several more minutes before accelerating to an enormous speed and disappearing in the sky above the stunned onlookers. Loria’s sighting has some interesting particularities but it is in no way singular.
Over the past few years, the Yucatán coast has been attracting unidentified flying objects like a magnet, with new reports coming in every month. Witnesses from all walks of life describe strange objects traveling at high speeds without making a sound.
Perhaps the most unusual aspect of Loria’s sighting is that it happened before. On the same day last year, a similar type of craft was spotted not far from the beach. It was witnessed by a well-known and respectable lawyer from Mérida. Profoundly disturbed by what he had seen, the lawyer contacted the authorities at Mérida International Airport and hoped to hear something that would put his mind at ease. Instead, he was told none of the planes they tracked flew over that particular area. Furthermore, no plane could reach or withstand the formidable speed he described.
I seek no explanation for what I saw,” the lawyer told Milenio Novedades. I spotted the object from my summer home in Chelem; I even had binoculars. What I saw shocked me and I became convinced the UFO phenomenon is real.”
Several years prior to this incident, residents of Flamboyanes (a city located less than ten miles north of Mérida) witnessed and reported a UFO flap consisting of strange lights moving silently at supersonic speeds. The objects flew very low, as if they were performing a surveillance mission. Their speed was so great, nobody had a chance to take a second look and before anyone could identify them, the glowing objects ascended and disappeared.
Many have taken these sightings as a clear sign that a strong extraterrestrial presence has bases in the Yucatán Peninsula. What are they doing there?
Some speculate the answer lies with the peninsula’s history and the existence of Mayan archaeological sites such as Chichén Itzá, Tulum and Uxmal. Maybe King Pakal really did have a spaceship.
