Vaccination becomes mandatory for children who attend public school in Los Angeles and parents are taking them off school!
After Senator Richard Pan’s created the bill SB277 and passed it a couple of years ago, children in California who attend public school must receive all the vaccines on the schedule, or they will not be able to participate in school.
As you might imagine, this caused attendance to drop fast. The attendance information for all the school districts in California is not readily available, but the LA USD info is.
13,000 students dropped the Los Angeles Unified School District this year alone. People could not understand the reason why countless students left their public schools. But with the new mandatory vaccination bill that came through, it began to make sense.
According to LA School Report:
“When board members heard Tuesday that the number of students who have left LA Unified schools was even worse than they’d been told, they wanted to know what was being done.
Here’s what they heard: reducing absences, launching the unified enrollment system, and offering a broader range of school options. But this is what board members have proposed:
Ensure that students in pre-kindergarten classes remain in district schools, increase achievement at district schools, and redouble student recovery efforts.”
To understand the truth of the matter, we must look at the actual ebb and flow of public opinion. We must put our finger on the pulse of public opinion, with something like, say, one of the recent viral Facebook post in which a pro-vaccination sentiment was turned into a raging storm of comments with a contrary opinion.
Recently, ABC News reporter Ashley Glass launched a Facebook post that was flooded with comments including real information about the dangers of vaccines when she posted about her body’s reaction to the flu shot. Unfortunately, the news reporter still thinks it is normal to have a bad reaction when taking vaccines.
Another Facebook post was recently made on a page called “Cure Gear.”
They created a t-shirt to promote vaccination. Cure Gear is not a big Facebook page, but their post went viral and people started commenting about the dangerous to promote vaccines.
These are the comments:
If parents want to opt out vaccines, they can get a written medical waivers from doctors to describe a child’s physical condition or medical circumstances. The declaration must include which vaccines are being spared, and also if the exemption is temporary or permanent. If it is temporary, the waiver must include when this exemption expires. If the doctor gives the parent permanent exemptions, then it does not need to be renewed.
However, personal-belief exemptions for religious or other reasons are no longer a reason for opting out.
How To Get A Medical Waiver
The law so far does not define what physical conditions or medical circumstances qualify to opt out, giving doctors some latitude and options.
“The schools are going to be prone to accept anything that a physician writes because our business is education and the physician’s business is health,” stated Pamela Kahn, a registered nurse and the health and wellness coordinator for the Orange County Department of Education.
The Centers for Disease Control and Prevention declared that some reasons to avoid particular vaccines involve life-threatening allergies to an included ingredient or a history of the rare autoimmune disorder Guillain-Barré syndrome.
Licensed medical doctors are the only ones that can provide the exemption.
Many kids have already been injured or killed from vaccines, from DTaP to Gardasil. For that reason, people prefer to withdraw their kids from the public school system. Parents disagree that the government can force them to vaccinate their kids, even when they choose against it.
