Professor Hawking states that there are around 100 billion galaxies in the universe, and each one contains MILLIONS of stars. Taking this into account, it is VERY unlikely that Earth is the only place in the VAST universe where life has evolved. Making contact with Advanced Alien beings may be catastrophic for our civilization.
Extraterrestrial life –also known as Alien life— can exist in many forms.
From simple bacterial-like organisms inhabiting the depths of planets like Mars to sophisticated and extremely advanced ‘alien’ civilization inhabiting the vast universe, described by the Kardashev scale.
Researchers around the globe suspect that alien life exists somewhere out there, even though we have ‘still’ not found any empirical evidence to back up the theories.
But hey, millions of people around the globe believe that a divine being referred to as ‘God’ Created everything we see around us even though we have still no found evidence supporting ‘God’ exists.
With the sheer number of technological advancements in the last couple of decades, the search for extraterrestrial life forms in the universe has taken an entirely different level.
We have huge space telescopes searching for potentially habitable planets, and a number of robots exploring planets like Mars, all in an effort to hopefully find out we are not alone in the universe.
While there are theories like the Ancient Astronaut Theory which presuppose that thousands of years ago, extremely advanced alien beings touched down on Earth and helped kick start our civilization, there are others who are skeptical when it comes to Alien life forms.
However, for world renowned British Scientist Professor Stephen Hawking aliens are REAL and making contact with them may not be a positive thing for our civilization.
According to an article published in the Sunda Times, the world-renowned theoretical physicist has warned that mankind should not MAKE contact with ALIENS since it would bring DOOM upon our civilization.
This statement was reportedly made by Professor Hawking during a documentary series aired on the Discovery Channel in 2010, where the theoretical physicist wants how Alien beings could wipe out mankind.

According to Professor Hawking, his brain has rationalized that there is life somewhere apart from what exists on Earth.
“To my mathematical brain, the numbers alone make thinking about aliens perfectly rational. The real challenge is working out what aliens might actually be like.” (Source)
Professor Hawking things about Alien in the following way.
He reveals that ‘aliens’ can be like simple microbes, basic animals such as worms, existing somewhere where they may have developed further, just like human evolved through history.
Professor Hawking states that mankind may be SHOCKED once we discover real Aliens.
According to Professor Hawking, it’s possible that somewhere in the universe, alien beings may have used up all of their resources and are searching the cosmos for new places where they can rule, which makes human contact with extraterrestrial beings an extremely dangerous ‘game.’
Professor Hawking indicates that alien life is likely to exist in numerous parts of the universe and not just on planets. Alien life can exist in a number of ways, and it doest not necessarily have to be similar to our understand of life. Extraterrestrial may inhabit the center of stars, or float in interplanetary space.
“We only have to look at ourselves to see how intelligent life might develop into something we wouldn’t want to meet. I imagine they might exist in massive ships, having used up all the resources from their home planet. Such advanced aliens would perhaps become nomads, looking to conquer and colonize whatever planets they can reach,” Professor Hawking said.
If aliens ever visit us, I think the outcome would be much as when Christopher Columbus first landed in America, which didn’t turn out very well for the American Indians,” said Professor Hawking.
