What Scientists Found Deep in the Mediterranean Sea in Egypt Is Seriously Unbelievable

  • Paul Ruminski

they were evidently being moved by somebody when went lost at sea

    • Kara Elizabeth Parkinson Wight

  • Highwayman

Seriously? Centuries under the sea, no barnacle buildup, no seaweed attached, “gold fragments” not disturbed and everything pulled out totally clean? Give me a break. And your drop down banner is a total annoyance. Total B.S.

    • Manro_FX

I have to agree without disagree

    • Harry Hubbard

I believe you nailed it Highwayman. Suspicious as only one of the pics shows massive barnicle build up but the other do not…and one shot shows the water so clear and undisturbed?? Just sayin.

  • Robin Harriram

it appears , these statues were recently dropped in a strategic point and and “found”, just to create some stir.

    • Mike

That big Stele was brought up years ago so scientists could copy the text. They covered the surface with some king of polymer then peeled it off. Then they lowered it back down to the place where it was found. They figured the ocean could preserve it better than they could.

      • Manro_FX

        Oy,a longshot it is

  • George C Dillabough

So this is an idol. No one benefits today from these creations of man, There is only one God and He does share His power with us and we are expected to account for our use of it too. Only for our benefit though. He knows our hearts and He knows what we will do with the blessings that He gives us and He rewards us with even more when we do what He expects us to. He expects us to love our neighbor and when we do He feels our love for Him as well and we get to know Him better and He will remember us when we return. How simple it is to live the Gospel of Jesus Christ and show love to His Father and our Father too! God Bless us, everyone!

    • Mike

Icons and statues are perfectly fine since they are approved in various branches of the living body of Christ. The Egyptians knew they were useful thus they used them.

      • rachel greene

excuse me? Have you read the Bible? Read Romans and then try to say this. The Egyptians were not a part of the body of Christ, hence the plagues, the Exodus, the entire book of Exodus etc. Please try again. God is a jealous God.

        • Mike

The ancient Egyptians knew the value of statues and icons and their descendants in Christianity saw it too. The Apostle Mark founded the church in Egypt and Egyptians took right to Christianity because of the similarities with their own religious practices.

    • Strabilla

The Egyptian religion of sun worship was twice as old as at the time of Christ’s birth as Christianity is today. I doubt Christianity will last another two thousand years.

        The Millennial Reign

4 And then I saw thrones, and sitting on them were those to whom judgment [that is, the authority to act as judges] was given. And I sawthe souls of those who had been beheaded because of their testimony of Jesus and because of the word of God, and those who had refused to worship the beast or his image, and had not accepted his mark on their forehead and on their hand; and they came to life and reigned with Christ for a thousand years. 5 The rest of the dead [the non-believers] did not come to life again until the thousand years were completed. This is the first resurrection. 6 [b]Blessed (happy, prosperous, to be admired) and holy is the person who takes part in the first resurrection; over these the second death [which is eternal separation from God, the lake of fire] has no power or authority, but they will be priests of God and of Christ and they will reign with Him a thousand years.

        The Final Rebellion

7 And when the thousand years are completed, Satan will be released from his prison (the abyss), 8 and will come out to deceive andmislead the [c]nations which are in the four corners of the earth—[including] Gog and Magog—to gather them together for the war; their number is like the sand of the seashore. 9 And they swarmed up over the broad plain of the earth and surrounded the camp of the saints (God’s people) and the beloved city [[d]Jerusalem]; but fire came down from heaven and consumed them. 10 And the devil who had deceived them was hurled into the lake of fire and burning brimstone (sulfur), where the beast (Antichrist) and false prophet are also; and they will be tormented day and night, forever and ever.

        The Final Judgment

11 And I saw a great white throne and Him who was seated upon it, from whose presence earth and heaven fled away, and no place was found for them [for this heaven and earth are passing away]. 12 And I saw the dead, the great and the small, standing before the throne, and books were opened. Then another book was opened, which is the Book of Life; and the dead were judged according to what they had done as written in the books [that is, everything done while on earth].13 And the sea gave up the dead who were in it, and death and Hades (the realm of the dead) surrendered the dead who were in them; and they were judged andsentenced, every one according to their deeds. 14 Then death and Hades [the realm of the dead] were thrown into the lake of fire. This is the second death, the lake of fire [the eternal separation from God].15 And if [e]anyone’s name was not found [f]written in the Book of Life, he was hurled into the lake of fire.

        The New Heaven and Earth

21 Then I saw a new heaven and a new earth; for the first heaven and the first earth had passed away (vanished), and there is no longer any [a]sea. 2 And I saw the holy city, new Jerusalem, coming down out of heaven from God, arrayed like a bride adorned for her husband;3 and then I heard a loud voice from the throne, saying, “See! The tabernacle of God is among men, and He will live among them, and they will be His people, and God Himself will be with them [b][as their God,] 4 and He will wipe away every tear from their eyes; and there will no longer be death; there will no longer be sorrow and anguish, or crying, or pain; for the [c]former order of things has passed away.”

5 And He who sits on the throne said, “Behold, I am making all things new.” Also He said, “Write, for these words are faithful and true [they are accurate, incorruptible, and trustworthy].” 6 And He said to me, “It is done. I am the Alpha and the Omega, the Beginning and the End. To the one who thirsts I will give [water] from the fountain of the water of life without cost. 7 [d]He who overcomes [the world by adhering faithfully to Christ Jesus as Lord and Savior] will inherit these things, and I will be his God and he will be My son. 8 But as for the cowards and unbelieving and abominable [who are devoid of character and personal integrity and practice or tolerate immorality], and murderers, and sorcerers [with intoxicating drugs], and idolaters and occultists [who practice and teach false religions], and all the liars [who knowingly deceive and twist truth], their part will be in the lake that blazes with fire and brimstone, which is the second death.”

        The New Jerusalem

9 Then one of the seven angels who had the seven bowls filled with the seven final plagues came and spoke with me, saying, “Come here, I will show you the bride, the wife of the Lamb.” 10 And he carried me away in the Spirit to a vast and lofty mountain, and showed me the holy (sanctified) city of Jerusalem coming down out of heaven from God, 11 having God’s glory [filled with His radiant light]. The brilliance of it resembled a rare and very precious jewel, like [e]jasper, shining and clear as crystal. 12 It had a massive and high wall, with twelve [large] gates, and at the gates [were stationed] twelve angels; and on the gates the names of the twelve tribes of the sons of Israel were written.13 On the east side [there were] three gates, on the north three gates, on the south three gates, and on the west three gates. 14 And the wall of the city had twelve foundation stones, and on them the twelve names of the twelve apostles of the Lamb (Christ).

15 The one who was speaking with me had a gold measuring rod to measure the city, and its gates and its wall. 16 The city is laid out as a square, its length being the same as its width; and he measured the city with his rod—twelve thousand stadia (about 1,400 miles); its length and width and height are equal. 17 He measured its wall also—a hundred forty-four cubits (about 200 feet), according to man’s measurements, which are [also] angelic [measurements]. 18 The wall was built of jasper; and the city was pure gold, transparent like clear crystal. 19 The foundation stones of the wall of the city were adorned with every kind of precious stone. The first foundation stone was jasper; the second, sapphire; the third, [f]chalcedony; the fourth, emerald; 20 the fifth, sardonyx; the sixth, sardius; the seventh, chrysolite (yellow topaz); the eighth, beryl; the ninth, topaz; the tenth, chrysoprase; the eleventh, jacinth; the twelfth, amethyst. 21 And the twelve gates were twelve pearls; each separate gate was of one single pearl. And the street (broad way) of the city was pure gold, like transparent crystal.

22 I saw no temple in it, for the Lord God Almighty [the Omnipotent, the Ruler of all] and the Lamb are its temple. 23 And the city has no need of the sun nor of the moon to give light to it, for the glory (splendor, radiance) of God has illumined it, and the Lamb is its lamp and light.24 The nations [the redeemed people from the earth] will walk by its light, and the kings of the earth will bring into it their glory. 25 By day (for there will be no night there) its gates will never be closed [in fear of evil]; 26 and they will bring the glory (splendor, majesty) and the honor of the nations into it; 27 and nothing that defiles or profanes or is unwashed will ever enter it, nor anyone who practices abominations [detestable, morally repugnant things] and lying, but only those [will be admitted] whose names have been written in the Lamb’s Book of Life.

        The Perfect Life

22 Then the angel showed me a river of the water of life, clear as crystal, flowing from the throne of God and of the Lamb (Christ), 2 in the middle of its street. On either side of the river was the tree of life, bearing twelve kinds of fruit, yielding its fruit every month; and the leaves of the tree were for the healing of the nations. 3 There will no longer exist anything that is cursed [because sin and illness and death are gone]; and the throne of God and of the Lamb will be in it, and His bond-servants will serve andworship Him [with great awe and joy and loving devotion]; 4 they will [be privileged to] see His face, and His name will be on their foreheads.5 And there will no longer be night; they have no need for lamplight or sunlight, because the Lord God will illumine them; and they will reign [as kings] forever and ever.

You Are Invited to be Blessed

6 Then he said to me, “These words are faithful and true.” And the Lord, the God of the spirits of the prophets, has sent His angel [as a representative] to show His bond-servants the things that must soon take place.

7 “And behold, I am coming quickly. [a]Blessed (happy, prosperous, to be admired) is the one who heeds andtakes to heart and remembers the words of the prophecy [that is, the predictions, consolations, and warnings] contained in this book (scroll).”

8 I, John, am the one who heard and saw these things. And when I heard and saw them, I fell down to worship before the feet of the angel who showed me these things. 9 But he said to me, “Do not do that. I am a fellow servant with you and your brothers the prophets and with those who heed and remember [the truths contained in] the words of this book. Worship God.”

10 And he said to me, “Do not seal up the words of the prophecy of this book, for the time [of their fulfillment] is [b]near. 11 Let the one who does wrong, still do wrong; and the one who is filthy (vile, impure), still be filthy; and the one who is righteous (just, upright), still be righteous; and the one who is holy, still be holy.”

12 “Behold, I (Jesus) am coming quickly, and My reward is with Me, [c]to give to each one [d]according to the merit of his deeds (earthly works, faithfulness). 13 I am the Alpha and the Omega, the First and the Last, the Beginning and the End[the Eternal One].”

14 [e]Blessed (happy, prosperous, to be admired) are those who wash their robes [in the blood of Christ by believing and trusting in Him—the righteous who do His commandments], so that they may have the right to the tree of life, and may enter by the gates into the city.15 Outside are the dogs [the godless, the impure, those of low moral character] and the sorcerers [with their intoxicating drugs, and magic arts], and the immoral persons [the perverted, the molesters, and the adulterers], and the murderers, and the idolaters, and everyone who loves and practices lying (deception, cheating).

        The Final Invitation

16 “I, Jesus, have sent My angel to testify to you and to give you assurance of these things for the churches. I am the Root (the Source, the Life) and the Offspring of David, the radiant and bright Morning Star.”

17 The [Holy] Spirit and the bride (the church, believers) say, “Come.” And let the one who hears say, “Come.” And let the one who is thirsty come; let the one who wishes take and drink the water of life without cost.

18 I testify and warn everyone who hears the words of the prophecy of this book [its predictions, consolations, and admonitions]: if anyone adds [anything] to them, God will add to him the plagues (afflictions, calamities) which are written in this book; 19 and if anyone takes away from or distorts the words of the book of this prophecy, God will take away [from that one] his share from the tree of life and from the holy city (new Jerusalem), which are written in this book.

20 He who testifies and affirms these things says, “Yes, I am coming quickly.” Amen. Come, Lord Jesus.

21 The grace of the Lord Jesus (the Christ, the Messiah) be with all [the saints—all believers, those set apart for God]. Amen.

        • Strabilla

Yeah, but who wrote that rubbish? Actually it sounds very similar in style to the Egyptian book of the dead in some parts.

      • John Walker

14th century BC Akhenaten Amenhotep III break with the “standard model ” Dendera The creation of the cosmos. Now they used the term “Son of Re”

O sole god without equal ! You are alone, shining in your form of the living Aten. Risen, radiant, distant and near.
        Great Hymn, 47 & 73-74.

        • Strabilla

It was a diversion no less subtle than the Christian arguments about the Trinity, and it didn’t survive his death, so I don’t think you have much of a point.

      • Kerron McNab

Christianity has never been stronger, the bible, still number one best selling book, Egyptians got wiped out, Christians are a Global people…so yeah…highly unlikely

        • Strabilla

Plenty of time for Christianity to disappear in the next two thousand years. it has practically disappeared in the UK in under 100 years.

          • Kerron McNab

That maybe true for the UK, but it has flourished so much in the Latin American countries, even have strong footholes in Asian and African countries. Growth of the faith is still going strong, it’s inevitable the world unites and tries to take on God’s people, which not only gonna happen it’s already happening. JESUS IS COMING.

    • Ree Walker

      Please stop the insanity.

Yo, George . . . need to give it a rest. Maybe you need to change your meds? OK, just a suggestion . . .

    • Annette Davies

Why is it that the noses of all the African Pharaohs are broken?

  • John Walker

The red Granite statue Hardness 6-7 Mohs scale would be a funny thing watching the dynasty’s try to carve with copper tools hardness 3 .

  • Heather Mackenzie

This is very fascinating to me. The excitement is remarkable…I can’t wait to hear and see more about this great discovery…

  • Richard Cheslik

from the looks of some of the statues it looks like they were into big boobs.

  • Ivan Castilla

Did you take note of the shape of the head of faraoh?

  • Michael Weinberg

This is amazing. All of you who want to believe in a faith based set of values, ethics and principles – that’s great, but these are facts, like the statue – concrete. It’s 2017, please all of us lets wake up to the ideology of Universal energy, and personal accountability. This discovery may give us more information of how we came to be the intelligent species we are, and give us insight to what the next few thousand years will give us.

    Most importantly:
It’s ok to believe in God, or Gods or what ever – it’s not ok to fight others, and stop progress to create manifest destiny so that Your God is The God. All Gods are right, or wrong – this is the concept of Universal Energy. The energy is Hashem, and Alah, and Christ, and Zeus, and Buddah, and Quetzalcoatl – but the universe speaks to you as your wanted to be spoken to.

    Good night space travelers.
